As part of the restoration of the Meeting House on Milton Road in Rye, New York, the Committee to Save the Bird Homestead commissioned an archaeological dig on the grounds. An 1877 newspaper article about the little chapel provides a starting point for historical archaeologist Sara Mascia and her crew in this June, 2011 video by Suzy Allman.
